Zásady ochrany osobních údajů

_Last updated: October 28, 2026_

This Privacy Policy applies to Decibel Meter (Android package: com.studiosoctave.decibelmeter), published by Studios Octave ("we", "us"). It describes the information currently known about this app and its advertising. App features and data practices can differ; this page must be kept accurate for the specific app and release.

1. Publisher and contact

Studios Octave — Clément Darme, L'Abergement-Clémenciat, France. Privacy questions or requests: caesarencodingfactor@gmail.com.

2. Information handled by the app

The app may process information you enter or create while using its features, and may store preferences or app state on your device. The precise information, Android permissions, storage location, and any app-specific network services depend on the app version. Review the Android permission prompts and the app's settings. We do not claim that all apps are offline, use identical permissions, or handle the same information.

3. Advertising and third-party services

The app is currently supported by advertising delivered using Google AdMob. We may change or add advertising or mediation providers in a future version; this policy will be updated when a change materially affects data handling. When an ad is requested or shown, Google and any configured advertising partners may process information such as the advertising ID or other device identifiers, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and app information, consent choices, and ad impressions or interactions. The information used can depend on your device settings, region, consent choices, and the ad configuration.

Google's processing is described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage or reset the Android advertising ID and ad-personalization settings in your device settings. Where required by law, consent choices for advertising are presented through the app or the applicable consent mechanism.

4. Sharing, retention, and transfers

We do not sell your personal information. Advertising information is processed by the relevant providers under their own privacy terms and retention practices. App data stored locally remains subject to your device's settings and backup choices; clearing app storage or uninstalling generally removes locally stored app data. Provider data retention and international transfers are governed by those providers' policies.

5. Children and your privacy rights

The app is not represented by this policy as being designed for children. If an app is directed to children or is enrolled in a family program, its store listing, consent flow, and ad configuration must reflect that. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. For requests concerning information we control, contact us at the address above. For advertising data handled by Google or another ad provider, use that provider's privacy controls or contact channels.

6. Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The updated date appears at the top of this page. Please review the policy again after app updates.
